The process of selling your car to American Auto Buyers is very simple. Firstly, use our form above to submit some basic details about your car. Generally, we can provide the most accurate quote if you provide your VIN number, which is the 17 digit code generally found on your car registration.

From there, our team will reach out with an offer range. If you are happy with the offer range and choose to move forward, the next step would be to send a few pictures of the car's exterior and interior. This is to verify that the condition of the car was accurately described. Once the pictures are received, the AcclaimAuto team will provide you with a final selling price.

Once the final selling price is accepted, we will request a few pieces of information, such as loan payoff amount (if any) and preferred payoff method. After providing that information, then the American Auto Buyers team will schedule a time for the car drop-off and payment. Here's an example of how this might work: American Auto Buyers offers you $20,000 for your vehicle, but you have an outstanding loan of $10,000.  On the day of pickup, AcclaimAuto would deliver you a check for $10,000 for your positive equity, and pay $10,000 to the finance company in order to satisfy the loan in full.
